Scotts Lawn Pro Weed and Feed Lawn Fertilizer Weed Control Plus This treatment applies 1.5 pounds of 2,4-D per acre. Two applications are the annual maximum per treatment location for broadcasting. Apply whenever weeds are actively developing (when daytime temperatures routinely exceed 60 degrees Fahrenheit).
Utilize on a quiet day. Use on damp grass. Before applying this Weed & Feed, the grass should be fully watered or moist from dew to help the particles adhere to weed leaves. Do not apply this on flowering plants, shrubs, fruits, or vegetables, as well as St. Augustine, lippia, and dichondra lawns. On Bermuda grass lawns, transient discolouration may occur under specific conditions.
Do not water the grass for twenty-four hours following treatment. Water will remove the herbicide from the leaves of the weeds and limit the efficacy of this product. If rain is forecast within the next 24 hours, this should not be applied. What is Scot Scott’s weed and feed number three?
Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 with WeedGrip Technology, grabs the weeds you see and the ones you don’t for up to 2X more effective dandelion and clover management (compared to the prior formulation), all while nourishing and thickening your grass to crowd out weeds.
How often may Scotts Turf Builder® weed&feed be applied?
Wait at least 30 days after applying another fertilizer (such as Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Food or Scotts® Turf Builder® Halts® Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food) before applying Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed. Apply up to twice year. Minimum of thirty days between applications.
Feeding a lawn with Scotts® lawn food promotes the development of a dense, rooted grass that is better able to absorb water and nutrients than an unfed lawn. This assists in protecting your grass from heat, drought, and other pressures. Remember that your grass will begin to wilt when it needs water.
